Information on Changing your platform URL - Part of foundU Services
Changing your platform URL is quite complex as many things rely on that specific address. That’s not to say it can’t be done, however, it does take some time and effort to ensure it’s done correctly and no users encounter future issues with logging in or accessing other links.
Depending on the needs of your business and the size of the change, we have a few suggested options and relevant price points. Please read the section below for more information on pricing specifics.

We have plenty of experts in our Customer Success team to help talk you through the right option depending on your end goals and reason for wanting to change your platform URL or move data.
Our information below should assist you with a general guideline on pricing, please compile any questions to discuss with our team! Depending on why you wish to change your URL, you have a couple of options at different price points.
Hot tip: If you are starting a new entity or changing owners, we recommend Option 1. If you are simply updating your brand, and have no other information we'd recommend Option 2.
- Option 1
Create an entirely new platform with the same setup
- No employee data is required to be transferred - $0 additional (standard usage fees apply), or
- Employee information moved only - $320 + GST, or
- Advanced Employee information, including onboarding documentation -
- Minimum charge ($250 per request), plus an additional fee of
- $80/hr + GST for general admin services
- * Final price will be subject to being scoped by our team
Additional fees apply if you still require ongoing access to your old platform domain/data, such as:

- Ongoing limited user access (view-only) to the old platform - Pricing as per Offboarding Document - this will be available to you upon platform termination.
- Ongoing storage of historical information without user access – Data export requests on demand - Price upon request (this will depend on the scope of your request)
- No storage of historical data – Customer to export all required data on transition - $0.00
- Option 2
Changing the domain of your current platform
- All data is transferred over to the new domain & platform redirection (if an admin user tries to access the old platform they will be redirected) - $2500 + GST
After completion of a platform URL change:

- All devices and users will be logged out except for the Clock Apps which will continue to run until the next update is available. We recommend logging out and back into the Clock Apps with the new domain at your earliest convenience to avoid any unscheduled disruptions in the future.
- Data such as platform files will be inaccessible during the transition and sync up overnight.
- You will need to liaise directly with the foundU Help Desk in updating any platform Logos that may need to change.
To start the process for either Option above:
- Contact us! - Email foundU Help Desk or your Customer Success Manager and let them know which option you would prefer and why the change is required. We will then provide you with a detailed quote.

Lock in a date - Your Customer Success Manager will then confirm the scheduled time for when this will occur, depending on our current backlog, it could be up to a month from when you’ve submitted the request until the completion.

- For domain changes - The process needs to occur after hours, and after your latest pay run has been completed to avoid any disruption to processing.

Finalise payment

- Option 1 (new platform) - Once the process is completed the fee will be added to your monthly invoice.
- Option 2 (URL change) - We will require payment upfront for this service.
