How will the integration work?
Once you have connected foundU and JobAdder, you'll select which candidates you'd like to bring across to foundU, these may be your successful candidates for certain roles, or bulk candidates for casual pools if you run a labour hire business. Candidates pushed from JobAdder to foundU will receive a welcome email and can then complete their onboarding in foundU.

Once you have an active account with JobAdder and are ready to use its features, you'll need to follow the easy steps below to configure your initial Integration.
Before connecting JobAdder for the first time, you'll need to contact our foundU API team at api@foundu.com.au to request your client ID and secret key, as these details are essential. Please allow 1-2 business days for our team to respond and provide you with this information.

Connecting JobAdder and foundU
To setup your initial integration:
- Please ensure you are logged in to both your foundU and JobAdder Platforms.
- In JobAdder, navigate to Account > Admin. Select the General tab > Apps & Add-ons. You will find foundU as one of the available options. Press Learn More on the foundU tile.
- On the foundU overview page, select the Install button. Under the foundU connection, you should already be connected to JobAdder. To connect to foundU, enter your:
- Client ID,
- Client secret,
- Subdomain for foundU (enter your platform subdomain e.g. camden-demo. You do not need to add .foundu.com.au)
Please note: You'll need to contact our foundU team at api@foundu.com.au to request your client ID and secret button.
- Once all fields have been entered, select Connect.
- On the authorisation screen, confirm your permission to connect foundU and JobAdder and Continue Integration.
- Once authorised, you will be taken back to JobAdder where the foundU button will now show as connected. Select the Install button to finalise the process.
Once the Integration is complete, you'll see 'Installed' next to foundU under Apps & Addons. Follow on for the next steps on Pushing candidates from JobAdder into foundU.
From time to time, you'll need to sync your new employees in foundU so they are accessible to you in JobAdder. Please note, this step is performed after the Initial Integration between the 2 systems. If you have not yet done this, please use the instructions above.

Syncing candidates in JobAdder to foundU
To sync candidates:
- Navigate to a current Job Posting in JobAdder via Jobs > All Jobs. Select the relevant job title from which you are looking to move a candidate.
- From the list of all candidates that have applied for this role, tick the box next to the successful candidate > Actions > Hire Candidate.
- Next, complete the placement for the candidate by reviewing the details and pressing Create once complete.
- The successful candidate will now push across to foundU, bringing their name, email, mobile and resume across.
Once in foundU, all candidates from JobAdder will now receive the foundU welcome email and be able to set a password and complete their onboarding.

How long will it take once I place a candidate for them to be visible in foundU?
Once you have brought across the successful candidate's profile should be able to be seen in foundU immediately, you'll likely need to refresh your screen.
Where can I find my Client ID and Client Secret to complete my JobAdder initial integration?
No problem, you'll simply need to email our API team to obtain these details to complete the integration. Please allow 1-2 business days for the reply.
Can I bring all of my candidates for a job role across to foundU as opposed to just the successful candidate? Then I can manage the hiring process within foundU.
This will depend on how you manage your business and what type of business you are.
For instance, for most direct employers hiring would be done through JobAdder, and you will only bring across your successful candidates.
However, if you have a labour-hire business, you'll likely be hiring as part of your casual pool of candidates and bringing multiple candidates across to foundU where you can then complete client-specific inductions, and onboarding etc. through foundU.
