As part of your package with foundU, you have access to a wide range of free included resources. These include access to our Help Centre guides, Core learning and Masterclass webinars. However, if you would like a more tailored Training experience, Our Training Team can help!

Some reasons to book a Custom session are:

Understand the Training Types offered

If you're looking to book a session with one of our Trainers, it's important to understand the three types of training sessions we offer and who they are best suited for. 

Don't worry, after discussing your needs, we are happy to recommend the best option for your training requirements.

The types of Paid Custom Training we provide are:

  • Core Topic Session - Consider this a live webinar where you can ask questions throughout the session. Each session will concentrate on 1 to 2 of our Core topics.
    • This session is ideal for both new customers and new admins of foundU, as well as a refresher training for larger groups of long-term users of the platform.

  • Scenario-based Session - Designed to improve existing platform knowledge. We will guide your team through specific processes based on what we've discussed with you beforehand or what your Customer Success Manager has shared with us, providing a facilitated training session.
    • This session is ideal for live customers or those with complex processes.

  Check out some of the great feedback we've received from our customers who have participated in Scenario-based training sessions!

  • New Admin Session - Consider this a rapid-fire foundU 1-on-1, aiming to quickly upskill new admins to perform their roles effectively. We utilise test data for a quicker session turnaround. While there is less customisation, there will be ample opportunities for these new admins to ask questions!
    • Ideal for a small group of admins that will focus on one core topic.

  This is a new session type that we have just released. Book in training for your new admins now, and be the first to provide us with feedback!

Contacting the Training Team

If you'd like to organise custom training for your business, you can reach out to the team directly by emailing training@foundu.com.au or by letting your Customer Success Manager (CSM) know of your interest. 

So, what happens once you express your interest in training?: 

  1. One of our trainers will reach out to you via email to organise a Scope session. During this time, they will assess your training needs and help you determine a few key items. These are:
    • Who in your business is the training intended for?
    • What are the primary pain points that need to be addressed?
    • How much time can you allocate for training your team?
    • How urgent is the need for this session?
    • Don't know what session type you need? Don't worry, we will help you with this!
  2. You will then be assigned a trainer, who will create the content and host your session. Your trainer may have additional questions or follow-up questions regarding the content for your session; they will communicate these directly with you.
  3. After your session, your trainer will provide you with a follow-up email that includes a copy of your session recording (if online) and a feedback form for you to complete. Don't worry, the feedback form should only take you two minutes!

Customised training allows you to select the topics you want covered, view the training demos within a copy of your platform data, and customise the sessions based on the permission levels of your admins in attendance.

Training FAQs

Why do I need to meet with you beforehand? Can't we just go into the training session? Is there a cost associated with meeting with a trainer to discuss our needs?

A scope meeting with a trainer is completely free of charge! It is important to us that we have a clear understanding of your training needs to ensure we can tailor the session accordingly. We also use this time to assess the urgency of this session, provide you with a quote, and select a suitable date for both our team and yours!

This is a great opportunity to address any additional questions you may have.

Why is there a 2-week notice period? I want my training now.

To organise a training session for your team, we usually need two weeks to familiarise ourselves with your platform, processes, and structure. However, we're happy to discuss whether your session can be arranged in a shorter timeframe. 

Alternatively, we also offer our New Admin sessions, which are designed to provide your new admin with the essential information they need to perform their role effectively. This session does not cover any specifics related to your business's platform.  

        Can anyone from my business book and pay for a training session?

No, we will require approval from either the main stakeholder or the super user of your business before we can book in your training session. 

Once we have the approval, our accounts team will issue the quote and invoice to that person.

How do I determine the most suitable type of custom training for my business?

You don't need to worry about that! One of the main reasons we book a mandatory scope before your session is to figure out which session type suits you best. 

What if I have booked and paid for my training, but need to change the date as an important attendee is sick, or we need to cancel entirely?

We do have a cancellation policy in place for all of our bookings, which will incur a fee depending on how far out from your training date you cancel. 

However, if an urgent matter arises and you need to reschedule your session, please contact us at training@foundu.com.au directly, and we will be more than happy to arrange a suitable new date. 

How can I ensure that all relevant attendees are included in the training session?

In the training scope meeting, we work to find a suitable date and time that works for all of your admins. We are aware that some people work across multiple time zones, and we do our best to accommodate that.

Once your session is confirmed, we will email you a meeting invitation (with a Teams link if your session is online). You will need to ensure that you forward the invitation to any relevant members of your team. 

Can we tailor the topics to suit our needs, for example, if we use shift offers instead of publishing shifts?

Absolutely! We can discuss any specific items related to your business in our pre-training scope meeting.
