Allow candidates to register with your platform
Your foundU platform provides you with the opportunity to get potential candidates/ prospective employees to register their details with your platform directly.
This benefits of this feature include:
- A more streamlined candidate application process.
- Ease for potential employees as they can register & add themselves to your platform by using the registration link.
- As candidate details are directly input into your platform, this avoids the risk of losing their details in the future.
- Useful to include in Job Ads, or place within your SEEK or LinkedIn employement listings.
To start using this function, you'll need to:
- Enable the system setting 'Candidate registration'.
- Create the unique link to place within your ad.
For more information on capturing employee information via the registration link, you can find this in our helpful guide on Adding, onboarding and setting up a new employee.
To begin using the candidate registration feature in your platform, you'll need to enable the setting.
To locate and enable this setting:
- Navigate to the main menu > Platform settings > System Settings.
- Use the Ctrl + F search function on your desktop to search for 'registration'.
- Enable the toggle for 'Candidate registration'. Scroll to the bottom and SAVE.
Once this is complete, you are ready to create your unique link.
Once you have enabled the setting, you are ready to create your unique link. You can then create an advertisement on an employment website (e.g. Seek).
To understand and test your unique link to your platform:
- Your link will be yourcompanyname.foundu.com.au/register.
- To view what potential employees will see, open an incognito browser and paste in this unique link. (watch our demo below)
Any interested applicants, who use this link will flow into the Pending People section of your platform. You can then:
- Review their details and commence the recruitment interview process.
- Decline them if you feel they are ultimately unsuitable for your business.
- Leave them in Pending People to keep a suitable 'talent pool' for future recruitment.
