Leave balances for employees are uploaded during your implementation as you go live (run first payroll).

Once uploaded, employees can view their balances as they apply for leave. When they apply for leave it has to be approved, if approved it will automatically apply to their paycycle ready for payroll and hours automatically adjusted accordingly.

You can also view and edit leave balances at any stage directly on the employee's profile:

1. Go to People, Approved People.

2. Find the employee and click their name to go to their profile.

3. Go to the Financial tab and open the YTD section.

4. Scroll to the Accrued Entitlements section to view and edit leave balances.

New Beta testing for Applying Positions (not yet live):  

In this case:

1. Navigate to People, Approved People.

2. Find the employee and click their name to go to their profile.

3. Go to the Employee Card tab and open the Entitlements section.

4. This will display all applicable Entitlements  and you will be able to edit leave balances if you wish using the Edit icon.
